Abstract

This research aims to evaluate how an inclusive economy can accelerate the development of the green economy and create green job opportunities in Aceh Besar. With the growth of various issues related to sustainability and environmental protection, a way of development that not only focuses on economic growth but also makes equitable social distribution and protecting the environment is very important. It is believed that an inclusive economy, which provides all groups of people with equal access and opportunities in economic activities, can serve as a driver for sustainable green economic growth. In this study, the approach used is qualitative by conducting case studies in several leading sectors in Aceh Besar, such as sustainable agriculture, environmentally friendly fisheries, and ecotourism. Findings from the study reveal that the implementation of policies that support an inclusive economy, such as microcredit programs for small and medium-sized enterprises, job skills training for vulnerable groups, and green technology assistance, has a significant impact on increasing local incomes and creating new jobs. Furthermore, cooperation between local governments, the private sector, and local communities has also proven to be an important factor in integrating inclusive and green economic principles. These results confirm that an inclusive economy is an effective strategy to achieve sustainable development, in line with the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as providing policy recommendations to local governments to design more integrated and community-friendly programs.
