The method in this paper is a literature study that collects several studies or writings to answer dynamic assessment in mathematics. Mathematics Dynamic Assessment (MDA) is a method teachers can use to help students understand mathematics practically and flexibly applied in the mathematics curriculum. MDA integrates four research-effective assessment approaches in mathematics: 1) Determining student interests for the purpose of embedding instruction in meaningful and authentic contexts: 2) CRA assessment, 3) error pattern analysis, and 4) flexible mathematics interviewing. Four features of MDA: Interaction: Dynamic assessment often involves face-to-face interaction between students and teachers; Assessors offer support and assistance to help students solve math problems. Feedback: During dynamic assessment, students receive immediate feedback on their answers or help students understand mistakes and learn from their mistakes. Adaptability: Dynamic assessment can be adapted to students' skills to help understand certain concepts so as to provide support and motivation. Problem Solving Ability: Dynamic assessments often focus on students' ability to solve problems rather than simply evaluating their mathematical abilities.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/511 The Suitability Of The Spatial Pattern Of North Aceh District To The Level Of Earthquake Disaster Risk 2024-02-18T06:20:55+07:00 Deassy Siska deassy@unimal.ac.id Khalsiah Khalsiah khalsiah@unimal.ac.id M. This research aims to determine (1) the form of presentation of the Bajang-bajang dance at the Jeumpa Ban Kemang Kindergarten; (2) Application of creative dance to improve the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Jeumpa Ban Kemang Kindergarten: (3) To determine children's responses to learning creative dance to improve the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Jeumpa Ban Kemang Kindergarten. This research was motivated by the results of observations at the Jeumpa Ban Kemang Kindergarten, where the majority of children in the 5-6 year old class group had a tendency to move while learning very dominantly and beyond normal limits such as running here and there in several meetings during the teaching and learning process activities in that class. Apart from that, another problem which is also very important is that the learning strategies used by teachers do not support the learning age needs of children in the class, such as creating a pleasant playing atmosphere and often placing children to sit quietly and listen to the teacher, such as creating classroom conditions in elementary schools. Therefore, in this study, the researcher aims to implement a solution so that children in this class who have special kinesthetic intelligence can channel their movement needs and so that the child's kinesthetic intelligence can continue to develop. The method that the researchers used was using dancing activities. The dance that is danced is a dance created by Bajang-bajang which originates from Bener Meriah Regency. The type of research used is classroom action research. The results of this research show that dancing activities are very suitable for developing children's kinesthetic intelligence. This can be seen from the percentage results of the first cycle of the first meeting, the average kinesthetic intelligence of children is still starting to develop, namely 93.3%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, children's kinesthetic intelligence achieved an increase of 86.7%. In the first cycle, the teacher's activity score reached 60% and the child's activity score was 50.6%, in the second meeting, the teacher's activity score was 77.7% and the child's activity score was 69.4%. whereas in cycle II at meeting I the teacher's activity score was 81% and the child's score was 74.1%, while at meeting II the teacher's activity score was 84.7% and the child's activity score was 82.3%. This proves that dance activities can increase children's kinesthetic intelligence.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/485 Nation State And The Loss Of Cross Cultural Communication In Aceh Post Conflict And Tsunami 2024-02-16T02:26:09+07:00 Iswadi Iswadi iswaditajmorawa@gmail.com
This research article is concerned with the loss of cross cultural communication as a result of the establishment of a nation state based on political principles and concepts which will also give birth to what is called a national culture where the substance is the various ethnic groups in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to build a collective awareness where the establishment of a nation state does not have to destroy the existing of its substance. This article is a qualitative descriptive research where various existing data are processed qualitatively and the results are presented descriptively. The results of the research show that the Acehnese people have always had the political desire to establish a nation state, but it seems to have failed because the existence of Indonesian national political power as a fixed price that Aceh must become an integral part of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). In the situation and condition like this, it seems that New Aceh, namely Aceh post-conflict and tsunami , inevitably has to submit and comply with various regulations that exist nationally in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Aceh, which is also known to have various local wisdoms and various ways of life, seems to no longer be able to be used as a reinforcement of Acehnese culture itself, which will also have an impact on the loss of cross cultural communication in Indonesia, where everything must refer to national culture. Until now, Aceh is still within Indonesia's geographical and political territory, but culturally it seems that Aceh still lives in a dualism between maintaining its ethnic culture or being absorbed into the Indonesian national system as a nation state. In the situation and condition like this, it seems that cultural communication will become weak or even disappear due to the power of Indonesian national political and cultural hegemony, where it must also be realized that post-conflict and tsunami Acehnese society is a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural society. This means that cross cultural communication within a nation state is very important and does not only prioritize political communication which so far has tended to be seen as being between interests and profits, and even far from values that can provide learning in our lives.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/486 Student’S Decision To Participate In Extracurricular: The Influence Of Antecedent Variables 2024-02-16T02:29:36+07:00 Muhammad Diah mudi.unimus@gmail.com Marwan Hamid marwan.dayah@gmail.com Denny Firmansyah manggislangsa@gmail.com Fitri Ernalis fitriernalis@gmail.com
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the antecedents of the student’s decision to participate in extracurricular activities. In order to determine the conceptual model as well as to develop the measurement scale, a literature review was used. The data was collected by distributing an online questionnaire to the students of Almuslim University with a total of 292 valid feedback obtained and then analyzed using SPSS 2.0 to test the research hypotheses. The result shows that all proposed hypotheses are accepted. The findings also indicate that among the three main antecedent variables in the model, perceived behavioral control has the highest effect on the intention to take part in extracurricular activities followed by subject norms that are moderately affected. Meanwhile, the lowest effect of the antecedent is the subjective norm. Furthermore, the quality of extracurricular information as the supporting antecedent has a very less significant impact. Moreover, gender factors have a different influence on the decision to take part in extracurricular activities in which females are more influenced by other advisers compared to males. Uniquely, the decision to take part in extracurriculars is not influenced by the quality of extracurricular information for senior students. On the contrary, the junior group shows the contradictory results. The survey was conducted at a private university in which Almuslim University students were used as the sample. This results in students being less enthusiastic about mathematics learning activities, especially the material on limits of algebraic functions. The absence of enthusiasm or low student motivation to learn makes it difficult for students to learn mathematics, resulting in poor understanding of the material. To overcome the problems found in student learning activities, use learning strategies. The mathematics learning strategy that can be used to overcome this problem is the quick on the draw strategy which can encourage students to be active and collaborate in groups through games so that students are more active and motivated in solving problems in mathematics. This research aims to analyze mathematics learning activities regarding algebraic function limits using the quick on the draw strategy. Research was conducted at SMAN 2 Dewantara on class XI MIPA students totaling 42 students. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this research used teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, unstructured interviews, and documentation. This encompasses the copyright protection afforded to Acehnese musical compositions and performances. Music, being an indispensable part of human existence, serves as a significant catalyst propelling the contemporary music industry. Hence, the primary objective of this article is to scrutinize and evaluate the effective implementation of copyright law in the Aceh music sector. This is imperative due to the continued prevalence of unauthorized usage of copyrighted materials, including the rendition of songs or music covers and the utilization of segments or the entirety of copyrighted songs or music without obtaining prior consent from the rightful copyright proprietors. This study adopts a qualitative legal research approach employing a normative framework, augmented by empirical evidence derived from both primary and secondary sources. The findings of this investigation illuminate various determinants impacting the enforcement of copyright law in the Aceh music industry. These include the inadequacy of public awareness campaigns concerning the Copyright Law, the vulnerability of copyright owners or holders stemming from their limited understanding of copyright law, and the influence of amendments in the existing Copyright Law that exclusively entertain offenses necessitating formal complaints for legal redress. Consequently, copyright infringements can only be pursued upon receipt of complaints from aggrieved parties or victims. Furthermore, there exists a deficiency in comprehending the legal provisions of copyright law, particularly those designed to safeguard moral and economic rights. Additionally, there is a general absence of consciousness and adherence to legal norms within a substantial segment of the populace, especially in relation to copyright-related matters.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/498 Strategic Planning to Develop Education Information System in Almuslim University 2024-02-17T12:45:31+07:00 Muhammad Rezeki Muamar muamar.mrezeki@upi.edu Danny Meirawan dmeirawan@upi.edu Diding Nurdin didingnurdin@upi.edu Munir Munir munir@upi.edu
The development of information and communication technology is increasingly in the industrial revolution 4.0 era. Through this assessment pattern, a comprehensive assessment approach is obtained from a student's cognitive learning outcomes. In the 2022/2023 academic year, SMA Negeri 1 Matang Kuli made a breakthrough innovation in the end-of-school assessment. Referring to the pattern of the national minimum competency assessment (AKM), the end-of-school assessment at SMA Negeri 1 Matang Kuli is held digitally using the iSpring platform. The end-of-school assessment is intended for grade XII as the last summative exam at the high school level. Each teacher in class XII prepares questions with three levels, (1) easy, (2) medium and (3) difficult. Each level consists of 10 items based on literacy and numeracy level questions. The MSAT pattern is carried out in a way: (1) each student gets the same level of questions, which is moderate, (2) students automatically get a score after the stage I exam. The digital exam system publishes stage II questions on each student's ability in stage I, (3) If the student gets a high score, the questions obtained are at a difficult level in stage II. Likewise, students who get low scores will get easy questions and students who get medium scores will get medium level questions, (4) Students will get the same treatment to answer questions in stage III as a final assessment. Thus, students answer 30 questions in total in the End of School Assessment at SMA Negeri 1 Matangkuli with a final score that is measured at the student's ability level. In the 2022/2023 academic year, SMA Negeri 1 Matangkuli students are still dominantly at the low cognitive level on average.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/502 What The Future Of Leadership Will Look Like In Business 2024-02-17T15:05:55+07:00 Sonny Muhammad Ikhsan Mangkuwinata sonnymangkuwinata442@gmail.com Marwan Marwan marwan@umuslim.ac.id
Leadership is a person's ability to influence other people to work together according to plans to achieve predetermined goals. This is because to form an innovative organization, the most important thing is not to find as many creative people as possible to employ in the organization. The most important thing is to create a process and environment that can help the birth of as many creative ideas as possible. The only person who has the ability to do that is of course the person who has the highest power in the organization. Everyone who wants to be a leader should understand how to mobilize other people to do extraordinary things in the organization they lead. A person is said to be a leader if he is able to transform values into action, vision into reality, obstacles into innovation, differences into solidarity, and risks into rewards. A leader's leadership should be able to create change, be able to create a new atmosphere where people turn challenging opportunities into extraordinary success. To become a future leader requires experience, you need to be involved and experience various things at work and even in leading, thereby ensuring success in your leadership. The problem is that the production of salt by the people of Madura is not able to carry out the maximum production process, and the output of salt can't be fully absorbed by the market due to the quality of the salt. People still do not meet the criteria, in addition to the existence of the governmental policy of importing salt to meet the national salt supply. Imported salt has a quality that is considered sufficient. Moreover, a more affordable price than local salt is one of the drivers of salt import activity, moreover, salt import activities are not one solution that can be justified and still need a sustainable study. The investigation aims to determine the level of efficiency and optimize the production of people's salt, in particular in Sumenep district, which is one of the largest salt-producing areas. The research begins with determining the factors that influence the efficiency of the production of Madura people's salt using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, then determines the level of production efficiency using the Data Envelopment Analysis method (DEA). The efficiency of salt production among the Madura people, especially in Sumenep district, is 80.66%. Factors leading to inefficiency include fields and supporting technology. Improvement proposals to improve the efficiency of people's salt production include periodic inspection of the geomembranes, construction of intensive crystallization houses during the rainy season, improving the layout of the pitch, which is less effective at the time of irrigation, and the application of a roll material handling tool to assist the process of transferring the salt that has been harvested to a silo or a temporary storage warehouse.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/517 Development Of Fraction Board Teaching Aids To Improve Mathematical Problem Solving Skill Of Junior High School Students In Lhokseumawe 2024-02-18T12:05:47+07:00 Muliana Muliana muliana.mpd@unimal.ac.id Hayatun Nufus haytun.nufus@unimal.ac.id Nuraina Nuraina nuraina@unimal.ac.id
The purpose of this study is to (1) find out how the feasibility of the digital teaching aids for mathematical derivative boards developed to improve mathematical problem solving abilities of junior high school students in Lhoksmawe; and (2) to find out whether there is an increase in students' problem-solving abilities in the material of fractional arithmetic operations for class VII junior high school Lhokseumawe city. They reside in Kenekes Village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Leuwidamar District in Lebak Regency, Banten Province. The Inner Baduy adhere to strict customs and depend on the natural environment to sustain their way of life, and consistently strive to preserve ecological balance. This is achieved by the application of fundamental traditional principles that govern their daily lives, thus shaping Inner Baduy culture in terms of cognition, behavior, and attitude. The purpose of this research, entitled "The Interaction Pattern of Inner Baduy Tribe from Anthropology Aspect," is to examine the interaction aspect in Inner Baduy community from anthropology point of view. Specifically, this research aims to investigate the following dimensions: (1) social system, (2) knowledge system, (3) cultural system, (4) religion, (5) economic system, and (6) technological system. By analyzing these aspects, a comprehensive understanding of the interaction pattern of Inner Baduy Tribe can be achieved. This research utilizes the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, using a secondary data collection approach that does not involve direct observation. Instead, data is obtained from previously completed studies or existing research. The retrieval process of accredited journals and articles was conducted using Google Scholar. Articles were refined by limiting the publication timeframe to cover the years 2017 to 2023. In addition, a maximum limit of 200 articles was set for the search results. These criteria included screening publications based on the use of qualitative research methodology. As a result, a total of 10 research articles were obtained from the initial 200 articles. In addition, the researcher documented the articles into an analysis table. In the next stage, the researcher conducted a comprehensive analysis, thorough evaluation, and in-depth investigation. The findings of this study show (1) Observable changes can be seen through shifts in social systems, knowledge acquisition, cultural practices, economic structures, religious beliefs, and technological advances. (2) The context of Inner Baduy knowledge system is that the presence of a smart person is considered unimportant. Instead, what is more important is an individual who has comprehensive understanding and wisdom, so that it can protect them from potential fraud and manipulation by others. In addition, the Inner Baduy tribe does not apply writing in their beliefs, oral comes before writing, so there is no physical evidence or writing that can be read or seen related to the religion of the Inner Baduy tribe. However, it is passed down orally from parents who are inherited by the ancestors. (3) The cultural aspect of the Inner Baduy tribe has undergone a transformation in the process of global development. A number of individuals from the Inner Baduy tribe have violated the traditional legal framework that once regulated their existence, which resulted in some of the Inner Baduy community moving to the Outer Baduy area. (4) In addition, there has been an important religious shift, with some people switching from Sunda Wiwitan religion to Islam. The transformation of religious aspects can be attributed to several reasons, such as the influx of visitors, government initiatives for national progress, and the introduction of communication technology to the Baduy tribe area. (5) The majority of individuals from the Inner Baduy tribe are involved in agricultural activities. The agricultural methods used by the Baduy community have been passed down for generations, reflecting the lasting influence of the animistic and dynamic beliefs of the Baduy tribe. In addition, the local community is also involved in the production of woven handicrafts that depict the cultural heritage of the Baduy area. These handicrafts, including clothing, sal, sarong, and many other products made from Baduy woven materials, have gained popularity among visitors and are highly sought after as souvenirs for every visitor. Looking at the case study after Russia's political decision to mobilize the reserve army partially, we understand that the current war events are not necessarily clear facts and reality. This study looks at the misleading exodus of Russian society between points and hoaxes that occur on social media. This paper uses a qualitative method. This paper aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the misleading exodus of Russian society between facts and hoaxes after the Russian government's political decree on the partial mobilization of the reserve army in the Russia-Ukraine war. The data is obtained through the search for news texts, photos, videos, statements, digital traces as communication artifacts, both valuable news and hoaxes, and even citizen journalism reports from the West, Ukraine, and even Russia in various social media from multiple places of events. Therefore, this paper formulates the following questions: 1) what caused the public exodus with the facts of the post-decree process? (2) how did the social reception of Russian society on the facts and hoaxes on the partial mobilization of the reserve army cornered Russia? (3) how misleading is formed in Russian culture due to continuous false information until public attitudes are formed between rejecting and accepting info on the partial mobilization of the Russian reserve army in the Russia-Ukraine war. Results: shows that the misleading exodus of Russian society in facts and hoaxes provides an overview; (1) Political motives are thick in the case of partial mobilization for the reserve army, and there is a goal of bringing down the ruling government intending to weaken and or prevent President Putin from continuing his intention to conquer Ukraine; (2) Hoaxes are carried out continuously and repeatedly through social media to form public opinion that the opinion is genuine. (3) misleading exodus in social media. This method is critical to ensuring that there are no gaps or misconceptions between student knowledge and scholarly knowledge. Given the significance of didactic transposition, particularly of learned knowledge, a qualitative study using phenomenology as the design was carried out to ascertain the concept images of undergraduate students. This study focused on how undergraduate students conceptualized the concept of angles formed by a transversal. Nine undergraduate students in one of the public university in Aceh were given two questions. The results showed that six students had formed an incorrect concept image. They believed that pairs of angles would be formed if two parallel lines were cut by a transversal; each pair of corresponding angles, alternate interior angles, and alternate exterior angles must be congruent; and the measure of the angles must be known, to form each pair of same-side angles. These results indicate that there was an epistemological learning obstacle. Based on these findings, it is recommended that more processes of didactic transposition be revealed to determine the origins of these obstacles. Thus, alternative learning designs can be created to overcome this problem.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/548 The Effect of RANDAI Learning Model on Students' Mathematical Communication Ability at SMA Negeri 7 Padang 2024-02-20T01:33:10+07:00 Rani Rahim ranirahim@dharmawangsa.ac.id Hasratuddin Hasratuddin ranirahim@dharmawangsa.ac.id Mukhtar Mukhtar ranirahim@dharmawangsa.ac.id
The students' low mathematical communication skills are caused by a continuous learning process that is not fully student-centered. Floods began to occur more frequently in the Central Aceh District in 2015s, with overflowing water in Urban Drainage in various locations. The land use of the Paya Tumpi Waterway Network has shifted from forest to agricultural. As evidenced by the high flow coefficient, which can lead to flooding in the Paya Tumpi watershed area, insufficient agricultural land processing can wreak havoc on the hydrological function of the water flow network. A low topography characterizes the site. Due to an overflown of the water flow network in Paya Tumpi village, Central Aceh Regency experienced a Flash Flood on May 13, 2020. The main issue addressed in this research is the impact of land changes on the hydrological function of the water flow network against Banjir Bandang. The public has become increasingly aware of violence due to the availability of information regarding cases of violence. One factor influencing adolescent development is the global development that teenagers are increasingly experiencing, which is accelerating with the advancement of the industrial and technological revolutions. The lack of knowledge about protecting young people from the influence of sex is worsened by pornography. Inadequate support from law enforcement in providing protection to victims means that children's cases do not receive legal justice. Combined with a lack of religious knowledge from the family, this can cause teenage children to be difficult to control properly. This discussion, as a reflection of reality, contradicts the views of the majority Muslim society in Aceh Province. Based on extensive ethnographic fieldwork, meetings, and a study discussing the issue of violence against children and adolescents, the problem continues to escalate with the official implementation of Islamic Law in Aceh. In Acehnese society, the research results suggest that parental supervision of children is not yet a priority due to various family factors, including family achievement and understanding of child support, which are still not well implemented. Reproductive health education for children is still minimal and taboo, both in school and family environments. In order to guarantee gender equality in a context of cultural diversity, schools and the educational community must promote gender equality, which is influenced by different social and cultural dynamics.
2024-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/miceshi/article/view/570 Strengthening Media Literacy In Overcoming Children's Addiction Gadgets 2024-02-21T04:29:37+07:00 Fatmawati Fatmawati fatma.n2n@gmail.com Khalsiah Khalsiah khalsiah@unimal.ac.id Leni Maulinda leni.maulinda@unimal.ac.id Fides del Castillo fidesdelcastillo@gmail.com Mona Refaat Taman monataman32@gmail.com
Parents often find it easiest and quickest to give their children gadgets from a young age.
