The mortality rate 2-10% caused by severe infection as complications. Immediate diagnosis and management are essential for proper treatment and good prognosis. A 35-year-old female with Graves disease was complaining of fever and sore throat. She was initially treated with Thiamizole 1x20 mg for 2 weeks. Physical examination revealed leukoplakia and diffuse struma. Laboratory test : FT4 43 pmol/L, TSHs :0,005 uIu/mL, ANC <100/ul. Patient is diagnosed with ATD induced agranulocytosis. Treatment includes meropenem, fluconazole and GCSFs. The clinical and laboratory parameter improved after two weeks of treatment. Agranulocytosis in Graves’ disease patient which had ATD is a rare occurrence, with an incidence 0,2- 0,5% (66,7% had severe infection). The diagnostic criteria for agranulocytosis caused by ATD are hyperthyroid patients who are confirmed with an increase T4 and/or T3, decrease in TSH, ANC of 1500/ul before receiving ATD, ANC < 500/ul after initiation ATD and other causes of agranulocytosis have been excluded. In fact, most patients had ANC <100/ul. There are no symptom difference with agranulocytosis caused by other cause. High fever and sore throat are the most common symptom. Initial management are to identify, immediately stop the drug use, broad spectrum antibiotics and GCSFs. The hyperthyroidism will continue and alternative therapies should still be given. The best prevention is to educate patient and to examine granulocyte count frequently.
Maulina Debbyousha, Hendra Zufry Copyright (c) 2022 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/27 Thu, 10 Nov 2022 00:00:00 +0700 Effect Of Using Hallux Valgus Splint On Hallux Valgus Pain In https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/19
Abstract: Female teachers often use high heels in their work activities, which causes musculoskeletal problems such as hallux valgus. Flood disasters can occur anytime and anywhere. Aceh Province has a very large disaster potential, this is influenced by geographical, geological, hydrological, and demographic conditions. One of the areas in North Aceh that is often hit by floods every year, therefore it is important for the community to have good preparedness in dealing with flood disasters.

Purpose: This research is to find out the description of flood disaster preparedness in the community.

Patients and methods: This study is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling, with a total of 98 respondents residing in the North Aceh Regency. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires.

Results: The results showed that most of the community had a level of preparedness in the good category (56.1 %), then the community in the sufficient category (25.5%), and the community with a low level of preparedness (18.4%).

Conclusion: this research is most of the community has a level of preparedness to face flood disasters in high-risk areas in North Aceh Regency in the good category.
Yuziani Yuziani , Cut Sidrah Nadira , Harvina Sawitri , Irfanul Aulia Copyright (c) 2022 Yuziani Yuziani , Cut Sidrah Nadira , Harvina Sawitri , Irfanul Aulia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/14 Fri, 07 Oct 2022 00:00:00 +0700 Anesthetic Management In Patient With Laparoscopic Cholesistectomy https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/15
Abstract

Cholelithiasis is one of the most common diseases. One of the treatments that can be done is a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This action is one type of minimally invasive procedure that aims to minimize trauma from the process, which aims to minimize trauma from the surgical process but with satisfactory results. Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure by introducing CO2 gas into the peritoneal cavity to create a space between the anterior abdominal wall and the viscera, thereby providing endoscopic access into the peritoneal cavity. Anesthesia induction was performed under general anesthesia with intubation. The procedure was successful and the patient returned to the ward in good condition.
Zaki Fikran, Anna Millizia, Arief Kresna Copyright (c) 2022 Zaki Fikran, Anna Millizia, Arief Kresna https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/15 Fri, 07 Oct 2022 00:00:00 +0700 Relationship Of Self-Acceptance With Quality Of Life In Chronic Kidney Failure Patients https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/17
This study aims to see whether there is a relationship between self-acceptance and quality of life in patients with chronic kidney failure. This study uses a quantitative approach with a random sampling technique. The research subjects were 130 people with chronic kidney failure. The data collection method used a self-acceptance scale that was compiled by the researcher himself based on the aspect of self-acceptance from Bernard which consisted of 39 items and the quality of life scale which was compiled by the researcher himself based on the quality of life aspect of Sirgy which consisted of 29 items. Data analysis using Product Moment correlation technique. The relationship between self-acceptance variables and quality of life in patients with chronic kidney failure is accepted. This means that the higher the self-acceptance of patients with chronic kidney failure, the higher their quality of life. Conversely, the lower the self-acceptance of patients with chronic kidney failure, the lower their quality of life
Cut Mutia Zuhra, Zurratul Muna Copyright (c) 2022 Cut Mutia Zuhra, Zurratul Muna https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/17 Fri, 07 Oct 2022 00:00:00 +0700 Improvement of Public Health Through Waste Bank Schematic Design https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/24
Abstract: The community health public in Indonesia needs to be improved to elevate the quality of life. The waste bank is an activity of a non-governmental program to maintain environmental health by separating the household waste into organic and non-organic categories. The waste bank is managed using a system such as banking conducted by officers. It was proven that waste bank activity has a positive impact on declining waste volume to improve sanitation. However, waste banks are still carried out in volunteering houses, public service houses, and residential paths. Waste banks have many potencies to support either ecotourism or eco-green planning. This study was performed by waste generation and characterization sampling to determine the required size of the waste bank schematic design. The result shows a schematic design model of the Waste Bank building by researching society’s needs for better environmental health.

Purpose: This research is to design a waste bank based on public health needs

Patients and methods: This study is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling, with 98 respondents residing in Lhokseumawe city. Data collection was done by 8 days of sampling.

Results: The results showed that there is no waste bank building that meets the public health building requirements. There is a schematic design to propose.

Conclusion: There is an urgency to have a requirement to waste bank building design to improve sanitation and public health.
Arief Funna, Machfuzah Machfuzah , Sofyan Sofyan3, Deassy Siska, Savira Ersa Copyright (c) 2022 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/24 Sat, 08 Oct 2022 00:00:00 +0700 Duration Of Hypertension And Quality Of Life Of People With Hypertension In Aceh, Indonesia https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/53
Abstract: Hypertension has affected on a person's quality of life, particularly on elderly people, including their social life, mental health, and psychological function. As a result, the elderly's quality of life will suffer, as will their life expectancy.

Objectives: This study aimed to determine the relationship between the duration of hypertension and the quality of life of those who have hypertension.

Patients and methods: A descriptive study with a cross-sectional survey was conducted with participants from the Management of Chronic Diseases Program (Prolanis) in primary care in Muara Dua, Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia. We employed a total sampling technique (35 participants) and collected data through guided interviews using WHOQOL-Bref questionnaires.

Results: We discovered that participants with hypertension for less than five years were 45.7%, while those with hypertension for more than five years were 54.3%. Physical domain (57.1%), psychological domain (57.1%), and environmental domain (51.4%) all fall into the "good" category of life quality measurement. Meanwhile, social relationship were in the moderate category (42.9%). The following p values demonstrate the association between the duration of hypertension and quality of life: 0.460; 0.719; 0.635; and 0.975.

Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between hypertension duration and quality of life among hypertensive patients enrolled in the Prolanis Program in Aceh, Lhokseumawe.
Harvina Sawitri, Fury Maulina, Yuziani Yuziani Copyright (c) 2022 Harvina Sawitri, Fury Maulina, Yuziani Yuziani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://proceedings.unimal.ac.id/micohedmed/article/view/53 Mon, 19 Dec 2022 00:00:00 +0700
