The Role of the Blang Pulo Village Government in Integrated Stunting Reduction Efforts

Stunting is one of the public health problems that affects the quality of human resources. Efforts to reduce stunting require integrated involvement from various stakeholders, including the village government as the frontline of community services. This study aims to examine the role of the Blang Pulo Village Government in integrated stunting reduction efforts. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Blang Pulo Village Government has played a role in reducing stunting through program planning, implementation of health and nutrition activities, cross-sector coordination, and community empowerment. However, several obstacles were identified, including limited budget, low community participation, and less optimal coordination. Therefore, strengthening the commitment of the village government and enhancing synergy among stakeholders are needed to improve the effectiveness of integrated stunting reduction programs.
