Pengaruh Substitusi Minyak Pirolisis Plastik Terhadap Kinerja Perkerasan Semi Fleksibel

Abstrak
Modifikasi terhadap material beton aspal semakin menarik dipelajai oleh peneliti terutama untuk meningkatkan kinerja campuran dalam melayani beban lalu lintas akibat pengaruh iklim dan cuaca. Penggunaan material modifikasi pada aspal semakin meningkat terutama akibat meningkatnya teknologi daur ulang material bekas. Material bekas yang dihasilkan oleh produksi sampah semakin meningkat yang dapat berdampak pada lingkungan terutama jenis sampah yang sulit diurai dan dineteralkan oleh tanah seperti ban bekas, plastik Height Density Polyethylene (HDPE), dan jesis sampah lainnya. Untuk mengurangi dampak tersebut salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan mendaur ulang sampah tersebut menjadi produk berguna dalam menutupi ketersediaan sumber daya alam yang semakin hari semakin berkurang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa pengaruh penambahan minyak pirolisis plastik pada sifat reologi aspal penetrasi 60/70 terhadap kinerja perkerasan semi fleksibel. Metode yang digunakan yaitu sampah plastik dijadikan minyak melalui proses pirolisis untuk dijadikan bahan tambah pada aspal dalam campuran perkerasan semi fleksibel. Pencampuran tersebut diperoleh aspal modifikasi aspal dengan penambahan minyak plastik 0% - 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penggunaan minyak pirolisis plastik HDPE dapat meningkatkan kinerja kuat tekan perkerasan semi fleksibel.

Abstract
Researchers are increasingly interested in modifying asphalt concrete materials, especially to improve the performance of the mixture in serving traffic loads due to the influence of climate and weather. The use of modified materials in asphalt is increasing, especially due to improvements in recycling technology for used materials. Used materials produced by waste production are increasing which can have an impact on the environment, especially types of waste that are difficult to decompose and neutralize by the soil such as used tires, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, and other types of waste. To reduce this impact, one of the efforts that can be made is to recycle this waste into useful products to cover the availability of natural resources which are decreasing day by day. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of adding plastic pyrolysis oil on the rheological properties of 60/70 penetration asphalt on the performance of semi-flexible pavement. The method used is that plastic waste is turned into oil through a pyrolysis process to be used as an additive to asphalt in semi-flexible pavement mixtures. This mixture produces modified asphalt with the addition of 0% - 5% plastic oil. The research results show that the use of HDPE plastic pyrolysis oil can improve the compressive strength performance of semi-flexible pavement.
